Screenshots is a series of photo-realistically digitally painted artworks by Taslima Ahmed. In near exact replications of blue hues on a retinal display screen (that are notoriously difficult to reproduce in print), details of a car are painted with light from an entirely black background. These works mark the beginning of a painting excursion in which the artist has built a repertoire of different print techniques to reproduce the language of painting and employing digital means to achieve it.
